Lots of tint shops and custom vinyl shops get out your yellow pages. Custom is always best and don't cost that much. Make sure they have put on stripes before it gets a little tricking on the curves.

Hey Ed (Greywolf),

I'm kinda in Ron's (94tbird) shoes except that I have a little more time to wait (Vert, you know).

Here's what: I don't mind spending a little money (and maybe even lots) to get a good job. I'm kinda fussy about my current Vert and will likely be more-so with the '05.

It seems kinda iffy to haul out the yellow pages for custom work (even minor, like stripes). I think what 94tbird is looking for, is a recommendation from someone in the group that has first hand experience with stripes in his area. I for example, will be looking for someone in the north Georgia area (north of Atlanta) that might be recommended. I have no knowledge of good shops in this area as I have recently relocated here form Colorado. I will, no doubt, be checking in with local Mustang Clubs but would be interested in any positive info in the meantime.

If someone can fill me in with a recommendation, I sure wiould appreciate it.

And thanks !!!

Bryan Quinn from the Graphix Factory in Michigan did the car posted above. He does a great job. Problem is I have been trying to get a hold of him for over a week. His voice message systems are full and he is not answering emails. I hope he is just on vacation some where.

SeniorStang,

Thats exactly what i meant. was hoping someone knew someone in my general area where i could get it done, possibly with a recommendation cause i dont want any old guy to do it. i want it done right n money isnt really a problem so long as its done correctly. also willing to drive to get it done because this car will just be fun to drive.

Ron (94tbird),

I noticed that neither of us has precipitated a response. It may help if you indicate your location. Your info lists location as "not given".

There may be someone out there that would help out if they knew they were in your area.

Give it a try ...

Hey Senoir
If you find a good shop, let me know.
I'd be willing to take a little road trip for a good job.
BTW Bryan is planning a trip to Florida in Feb. and will stop to do stripes.

Hey Jason,

I'll be more than glad to let you know about anything good I find.

Too bad Bryan is planning a February trip. My T85 AA (priority 10) will not likely get to Georgia until late February, or most likely mid-March at the earliest. Maybe we should caravan to Michigan.

Keep in touch

Not a bad idea if anyone can find him.
We could ad to the caravan along the way and have him enough cars to do for a week.
There's one guy here that has offered to do my car for under $400, (a friend of a friend), but I've seen his work and I'm a little more picky than that.
I haven't looked around anywhere yet, though.
Heck I don't even have a VIN yet.

Anyone know where you can get the old school wide stripes. I am really trying to turn this into the car that my dad used to have. I am trying to go retro as possiable. Wides Stripes side vents everything.

Do a search for Bryan Quinn from the Graphix Factory in Michigan.
He's done several cars that are on here and he's selling the stripes that are the same dimensions as a Shelby.
Otherwise, just go to a local shop and tell them the measurements you want.

Spoke to Bryan, I will be meeting with him next week to see the template for the stripes so I can finally finish my car.
