Why does the factory only offer black and silver stripes? They should at least offer white. Are the dealer-installed stripes vinyl or paint?

Go to a local sign shop and have them make some for you and install them. I have done that with a car in the past and just dropped off my GT there today. It will take them all day and it costs about $470.00 but it will be VERY professional and the stripes will go all the way down to the ground, like they should, not just sit on top of the car. I'll post a pic probably this week. You can also get cheeper stripe options but I chose the more expensive setup. There are sign shops all over the place so look in your phone book. They all seem to do stripes too, so it's pretty common. I chose whiote stripes for my Sonic Blue GT.

They obviously were not the ones direct from FORD.

I was initially going to put white stripes on mine, but that seems like its going to be an extremely popular mod. Thinking more and more about that Sonic Boom treatment. Only with gloss black instead of flat.

If I ever find a hood I like that has a double intake I will most likely do away with the stripes and come up with a modified version of the Sonic Boom paintjob.

Throw a shaker on that and it will look a lot like what a Mach I will look like on this body style.
