UPDATE!!!!!!! Sorry about the lack of Pics....im off tomorrow so i have no excuse but to take and post them.

Now the bad news!! The paint job on the pieces is not good. The front bumper cover is already starting to flake off the paint where the grille opening would be. There's orange peel all over and the two sided tape holding the drivers side door filler piece is starting to come loose so it looks like poo. The car looks great at night and during the day from a distance, but thats about it. The only real fitment issue was with the back piece and i took it to another shop to have them look at it and they said they'd use filler to fill the small gaps and then respray the whole rear bumper panel. We'll see. The guy said, and I agree, that since Street Scenes took the time to do the whole front bumper cover, why didnt they do the whole back bumper cover as well so that it doesnt look "stuck on" like the piece they send. I would have paid more for a "one piece" rear bumper cover.

Anyway...pics will be up tomorrow morning, even if its raining here........promise!

Very nice....like the rear piece the most....actually thought the change would be more drastic, but it blends in nicely and makes it look factory which is pretty cool....good luck with the paint issues amigo...stinks to pay good money and have someone do poor quality work...keep us updated on the results.....later!

Chris,
Love the front and even the sides look good, Dont care for the back at all. I agree with you they should have made that all one piece; would have been a much better idea. Even in the picture you can see the gaps and fitment problems.
I hope the shop that did the work is going to make good in the paint issues. What did they say about the other issues you have?

You said something about the drivers door tape being loose this that the only thing that holds the door fillers on? Does the lower side pieces bolt on or are they taped on too? Do you think the sides would look ok with putting the door filler pieces on (sticking with just the lowers)?

Thanks for posting the pictures this pretty much seals the deal for the front piece for me. Still unsure about he sides, The back I can do without (maybe if it was a one piece)

Hope they do right by you and fix your issues.

Looks great Chris but, you need to fill in the front gap with a big inter-cooler.

Thanks for the compliments...Im self admittedly **** about my car and once its fixed and the rest of the mods on (stripes, springs, wheels, tires) it should look pretty killer. To answer one of the questions above, the side pieces are riveted on as well as taped. The door fillers are tape only. I think they just used crap tape, we're going to try something else this next week. They have to take the whole kit off and strip the paint, redo the prep and repaint. The shop that is going to fix the issues is also blending in the back piece with filler and then painting the whole rear bumper cover so that it looks like its one whole piece. The stripes are being painted as well then block sanded and then the whole front facia, hood, roof, trunk deck, and rear bumper cover are being shot with about 4 or 5 coats of clear so you cant feel the stripes at all. Should look great when its done.........they said they'd need the car for about two weeks or so to do it right. Ill post pics when she's home.

Ive been contemplating ripping out this 4.6 and do something special under there. Ill let you know after the debut of the next SVT at New York on Mar. 23rd. This GT is the fourth mustang that Ive purchased in the last year (one '03 Cobra, two '04 Cobras, and this GT), so Im not real good at holding on to them, but if the next SVT isnt "to die for", I may just build this one to the hilt and go hunting!! LOL. It pays to work at a dealership!!
