I was wondering if there was any info about the slimmed down side mirrors that street scene used on their project car. I saw a post a while back from I think "Mike" that said they were going to produce these mirrors. I really hope they make these. The one think I really don't like about this car is the F150 mirror, lol. Thanks for any info. Please see below pic.

Thanks Mike,
Please keep us updated. It seems like it was mentioned something about having "defroster/heated" mirrors. That sounds cool and all, but I would happy with just smaller ones like on the your project car that maybe just have the same power functions as the factory ones. I'm really not wanting to pay 200-300 bucks for some side mirrors. However, with the experience of my shop I've realized people have very different taste and bank accounts, lol. Maybe, you could offer a fully optioned out version and maybe a base model. As I have always said, "less is more". Just an idea. Thanks again for the info and keep us posted.

We are still working out all the mechanics and styling of them. I wasnt totally happy with the design last year so we are fine tunning them. We offer mirrors for trucks now so we have some experence at them but this is a whole new ball game. IF we do come out with them, we will offer them in manual, electric, signal, heated glass etc. Several diffrent options from under $100. to (my guess) over $300.00. As with every street scene product, you guys on this web sight will be the first to know! ( its our way of payback for all the input you give us)

If we come out with these babys its going to be at least 6 months. They are made from injection molded plastic. The tooling time for these sorts of parts is very long, expensive and somewhat complicated. We will want to make sure we have all our ducks in a row in advance cause you dont want to be making changes halfway into the tooling stage or after you make your first pair. Ill have a better feel by SEMA time. If we get the mods done in time for SEMA, we will put them on our show car and get some response. If the response is good, we can go right to tooling. The good news is that its all done in CAD so we can pretty much transfer the files to the tooling/mold maker.. Ill keep you guys up to speed when I know more. By the way Brandon- thanks for the complements on our truck mirrors. We have sold a ton of these over the years. Lets hope we can have the same results with the Stang mirrors!

IMO if SS or somebody else were to manufacture side mirrors that resemble something along those lines it would be a product that almost all 05-08 mustang owners would purchase. And I believe that enthusiists who are not into modifying there car would replace the bulking side mirrors!!
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!! what is wrong is teasing us with the possibility of making them for the public.

I would also be interested in some smaller painted (or paintable) mirrors for the '05. Mike, will the ones you make look like the ones on that car, or will you make them rounder and more retro? This is just my opinion, but those mirrors, although I love the size, are shaped a little too square and would keep me from buying them. Of course, perfectly circular mirrors that came on the old Mustangs wouldn't work on this new bodystyle... but something in between those and what you have on your orange car would be perfect.
