Have a look at Street Scenes new 3 piece rear deck tail. This new deck tail incorporates the 3rd brake light. The actual part is black urethane. The photo has been "colorized' so it looks a little un-natural. Once the real piece has been painted, Ill post some more pictures. This item should be available in about 3 weeks.

Uses 3M body tape. Very strong. Unfortunately, you will need to order your Mustang without the rear wing or fill the holes for the rear wing but I think you will need to do this for most aftermarket spoilers.

It looks great from the rear
.......But from the front it seems to steep of a transision from the deck lid to the top of the spoiler. Could it be the picture angle? or something.
Has anyone thought of incorporating the ducktail into a two piece bumper replacement? That would not limit the rear overhang...make it look "not stuck on" aka.. the CDC ducktail. This would give the manufacturer the opportunity to enhance the tail light area better and give a smooooth finished look. :worship:
What's your thoughts?

The picture angle is a little weird plus it’s been color enhanced so it makes it look worse. Ill have better pictures next week. Your idea on the rear bumper is a good one but the cost to do a complete rear bumper replacement gets a little pricey. It might limit the market as to who will pay the price for a complete rear change?

I dont know what it will cost to paint but the wing itself should be less than $300.00

On the real part it will be much thinner around the rear bumper area. The new grille pictures should also be available within a couple of days. Believe it or not, the enginnering on the mold for this piece is a little harder to do. It looks simple but gets complicated due to the way it mounts with the tabs.

Anybody have a link to Street Scenes! The only concern I have with putting a duckbill spoiler on my car (and I love how they look) is it going to make the rear of the car too tall. The duckbills on the Shelby's were broken up by a rear chrome bumper.

The rear deck tail isnt on Street Scenes web sight yet. If fact, the only place its posted is right here. Street Scenes web sight is www.streetsceneeq.com . Also if you are intrested in seeing the Street Secne body kit for the 6 cylinder Mustang, its listed under the official 05 Mustang 6 cylinder exterior mods thread.
