On August 30th, 2005 we will have our first monthly raffle. This month we are raffling off a set of Street Scene Louvers! These are the new Louvers for the 2005 Mustang. Give your Mustang a true Retro feel with these Louvers. They adhere with automotive adhesive tape, and fit the rear quarter window perfectly.

We are currently setting up PayPal for puchase of the raffle ticket. Each ticket is $10. All proceeds of each raffle go towards club expenses. This is one way we are able to not require membership fees.

so this is for Surfside Mustangs right? or did I understand this wrong when we spoke and its for TMS? Cuz if its for Surfside I will post elsewhere as well.... that and this should be on the main page since it is going to be a monthly thing and everyone should know.

Its open to everyone Rick, no requirement of membership.

The member section is getting done ASAP. Poor hubby is the free web designer, and he does as much as he can when time allows.

 

I also just noticed I didnt mention the raffle is for GEN 2 Louvers...

Geez, I really need to proofread more often.

 

Well folks, since we didnt have much interest in this raffle this month, we are not going to be drawing for it. The two people who did purchase raffle tickets, will be rolled over into this months Raffle.

 

Yeah, I can't see a lot of people spending $10 on a raffle ticket to win louvres that are relatively cheap, especially when MRT louvres are out there. I think you'd need tickets to be like $1 to get even a modicrum of interest.

Now if you raffled off a complete street scene body kit, I bet you'd get hundreds of $10 raffle entries and would make far more money overall than on the couple people that, for some reason, want SSE louvres.

Not meaning to knock SSE as I like most their stuff, but their louvres are just not that exciting. Certainly not $10-chance-to-win exciting.
