Has anyone replaced their GT emblem with the GT Supercharged emblem?

If or when your car is supercharged, that would be applicable and be neat. In my opinion, if the car is not supercharged, then leave it off.

 

i agree with mlcrisis. If you want to get something try the 4.6 High performance.

Agreed. If you can't back it up, don't stick it on.
But, if you got it, flaunt it.

 

Mine is blown and I would like to add these to the car..Do you know what # is the part # for that emblem or can that be obtained just from ford?

 

I'm not certain of the part number. It looks more like an order number and date on the packaging. How do you like the Vortech supercharger? I have been reading good things about the ProCharger performance wise, but I'm not looking forward to the loud grinding noise it makes? Is your Vortech loud? Thanks

My vortech kit is VERY quiet..In fact at idle you almost don't notice it at all,under WOT when you shift gears you hear the blow off and some nice whine, but even then it is not NEAR as Loud as the procharger.I am extremely happy with the kit

thestoogeo~ where did you locate that pic from?..I have a couple of my Ford dealer friends looking for that emblem and nobody has ever seen it before and the info on the package is no good to the dealers....Can you give me any info on where you got that pic?....thanks

 

Notice that the "GT" is not the same as the 05/06. Looks like from some earlier year perhaps?

 

definately an earlier version or maybe not even a mustang badge?..Argh, nobody knows anything about this item

 

It's from a Pontiac.... It was one of 05stangKC's riddles. He tried to throw everyone off with the Ford parts bag.

 

Really?...darn!..I have been hounding my buddies in the ford world trying to get info on this part.Guess I should look for pontiac emblems then...

Definately DO NOT put these on if you are N/A. That would be rediculous. Putting Cobra emblems on a GT is not as bad as putting supercharged emblems on a N/A car.

 

you are right totally, but I have a vortech kit on my car so I am good to go..
