I am planning on getting stick-on pony fender badges for my v6 when it comes in. Has anyone gotten these? If so, where did you get them? I prefer to get metal ones and not plastic. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Badges are available from lots of sources. I purchased the following badges for mine and was able to install them with minimal difficulty. I think the toughest part is getting them lined up and straight.

I don't want to drill holes in the fender. From what I understand, you can get badges that are reproductions of the real ones, but have adhesive backing instead of pins. Just wondering where are good places to get them...

Well since the first MY of Mustang was 1965, and this is a 2005 MY, wouldn't that be 40 years? The 1965 first went on sale in 1964 and the 2005 in 2004, again 40 years. I see no problem with 40th anniversary emblems on a 2005.

I do believe that Ford Officially celebrated the 40th anniversary with the special "crimson red" and tan mustang for 2004, so having the 40th emblems on the 2005 may b a bit of a stretch...JMO though!

To be honest, I think Ford was doing the stretching to sell a few more cars in the final year of production of the body style. JMO.

Here you go. These guys have over 100 different badges so I think you'll find what you looking for.
Mustang Unlimited
The ones I'm looking at are on the bottom of that page.

They are... the 05 was modeled after the Fastback which was first sold in 1965. Ergo... we're all driving 40th Anniversary cars too.

Well said. And those 40th badges are so great looking. If I was going to put any badges on my fenders, it would be those.
