I like the new wing, and yest - black was the right color for it. I am now wishing I would have gotten the Spolier Delete and just had the smaller Deck Lid Spoiler from CDC. But you live and learn

 

Interesting idea.....not sure about the ease of painting brushed aluminum.....might look cool in redfire on the ends though i guess....The winglets actually do a nice job of setting off the rims and the muffler tips in person now though.....but the red idea is worth thinking about.....maybe I'll photoshop it and see how it turns out.....thanks for the props ZeroK...

Some people on the net don't like what you've done. You posted pics, you can expect honest opinions. Nobody called you an a-hole, they said they don't like something. It isn't an insult, it the complement of being honest.

 

 

Same crap they put me through when I bought mine....I got preapproved with Ford credit online and spoke with the dealership by phone and was never told of any mark up. I get there and they tell me I have to pay 5k over sticker......I told them I wasn't aware of that and was a little upset....then they tell me I can't even test drive it if I think that is too much! I pitched a b1tch and asked the owner to call me....Got a call from him next day and he offered the car at sticker with a free window tint.....I was still upset at the first night, but it all worked out in the end....Hope it works out for you too bro....take care....

 

The Alan Alda line is funny Diamond....Made me wonder how many people in here are old enough to have seen M.A.S.H. back in the day. Anyway, I do appreciate honesty in all areas of life, and it's your right to tell me what you think of my car and also to give your opinion on where I should or shouldn't park it.....Great thing about this country is the freedom we have....best of luck in acquiring an '05 for yourself at some point in the future...interested to see what you do with yours...

Not sure how I like the wing myself (more of a ducktail guy, at least for the 05), but I think your ideas of black on the redfire will work great. I think I would consider painting the winglets, but I also realize I don't think I can get the full effect of the brushed aluminum through the pics, may actually work great with nice shiny rims.

As you seem to be one of the few, maybe only, people who are now really modding their car, I'm always looking out for what you do next. I may not like everything you end up doing, but I am darn sure the end result is going to look great (I'm pretty sure even those who say "hate it" now will bow to swingle's end result).

But seriously looks ok but I think it should be move forward a little looks like it is hanging off the rear.

 

I'm getting a redfire and personally, I hate that spoiler .. it looked like a nice $40,000 car before, now it looks cheap, lowered down to about 20k ( and that's only because it's a brand new vehicle I give a number that high) ..

I wouldn't put that thing on if someone paid me.. Nothing personal, but IMO you are slowly ruining that car and for what it was intended to represent .

Putting something so outlandish on a muscle car reminds me of those 17 year old punks dressing up those ricer honda civics everywhere.. Just looks downright ugly and cheap.. Not to mention looks low-class ..

True muscle car afficianado's will surely not be impressed when seeing that.. Maybe you will impress the kids though, but really, is that the type of crowd you want a stamp of approval from ???

Not sure what these cost in Canada Rob, but 20k is much closer to what these cost then the 40k figure you tossed in an attempt to degrade the car and cutdown my mods...If you don't like the spoiler then just say that and stop...The "ruining" line is total b.s. Do the world a favor and learn to be nicer to your fellow stangers if you expect to have anyone care what you think on this website....Amazing how the noobs always insert foot in mouth right out of the chute.....different strokes for different folks Rob...You'll see that after you're on here for awhile...
