I am finally getting my Steeda springs installed with an alignment today. Price for labor is $350 total.

I have been waiting since December. As most of you know, there was a pigtail issue that made a popping noise on their first batch of springs. They have worked out the problems and now I have a set of proper Steedas waiting for my baby.

I will take before and after pix of course, and post them when the job is done.

Steeda advertises 3/4" drop, but some have had more than that with their Steedas installed. I will also post these numbers...

...stay tuned!!!

How is the ride with the steeda springs? I know handling is improved but how close is it to the stock ride? Also do you need to get the camber plates or anything else installed?

No camber plates for the Sport Springs. The ride is great. It is jsut slighter stiffer than stock and only noticable on rural roads

Its not bad, just noticalbe. About 50% of my driving is the same. The mustang before the spring change was noticable. It is only slighty stiffer. It should not be that big of a change.

Glad to hear Bryan. Any difference in ride height from your previous Steedas? Did you alter them at all? I just can't believe they advertise 3/4" when it's realy an inch more than that.

Thanks

Ride height was the same. I did take pics of the old steeda springs vs the new steeda springs. I have not posted them as of yet. You guys want to see those ?

My previous lowered pics say it all

Okay! The car is delivered to the shop and I am going to bed (graveyard guy)!!! Will wake up to a brand new ride.

Here's the before pix. Sorry, no measurements (they were very busy and I was tired). But should be the same as Bryan's.

I will park it in the same spot and take after pix from the same location. Here is a before of the back wheel (the biggest reason I got the springs. I like the level ride)

Thanks Bryan. Without all of your courageous leaps, I would be very hesitant to do any of this.
