Steeda Cowl hood question

Has anyone ordered the Steeda Cowl hood? If so, how many hours of prep work would you say had to be done before prime and paint approximately? Is the hood pretty straight as far as waves go? Any input is appreciated. I am looking to get an estimate from a paint shop before I buy it so I kind of want to get some idea of what to expect.

Not sure about the pre and paint, as I had it done in Pampano. I can tell you though that the quality is good as far as the final product.

Thanks for the input. I am torn on this right now. I am leaning to the hood as my first mod but my wife says I should go with tires and wheels first. She thinks that will be more of an impact look wise. I am thinking while the paint is new go with the hood the wheels can always come at any time. What is your opinion?

Heh, I feel your dilema.

I have waited on the hoof because facory is not that bad at all. And I would rather wait til that hood has its share of nics before I change it out.

I have the steeda hood too and am really pleased with it. We did do a little glass work to it to mroe define the center line towards the windshield but the fit out of the box was deal on......the hoods made for steeda by kaenan ( sp) and really a high quality part.

heres a shot of mine
