Price to have it painted and installed varies a lot depending on the quality you are getting. I wanted a showroom finish so the guys epoxy coated all the parts, primed painted and cleared. To paint the body kit and the louvers cost $2,500 CAD (which is about 20 bucks US...just kidding). The job was excellent. Paint matches perfectly. I know someone else that only paid $800.00 US to have his painted. His paint does not match, has a few runs in the paint and it is chipping easy. I bought my kit from lmperformance.com. They had the cheapest price at the time. I don't think any companies take trades so you wouldn't get a price reduction. I kept all of the old parts and mounted them onto the wall in the garage. I even have my old exhaust system. I'm sure one of these days I will put them up for sale.
$2,500 is a little out of my budget. Adrenalin, I have to say that your car is absolutely sick! I bang my head every day wishing I had got the Sonic Blue. I've contemplated on having my car completely repainted and striped when I added the SS kit. Sounds like I may spend over $5k, and that won't fly by the Mrs. BTW, take a look at the Feb '06 Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords mag. I read this the other day and then saw your car, both are absolutely amazing.

FYI, my car gets completely repainted in a few weeks and I am contemplating between keeping the white stripes or doing something along the lines of the ghost stripes.

John!!! Why are you re-painting??? Dont change it, I am not a fan of stripes, but your car has always been one of my favs...

As for painting the kit and installing, it can range you from $500-$three000 (no three key). Its all about the kwality (no cue key!) of the paint, and the shop. Once I get the money all saved, I will be having Lanzini do my kit...

My car was viciously attacked by gravel being poured on the highway. Only part of the car that is not chipped is the spoiler and trunk lid. Entire car has to be repainted. I have a pic of my car and a pic of the stripe idea I want to go with next to me. I look at mine and say "Yup, I'll stick with that." I then put the other pic on top for a day. By the end of the day I definately want to go with the new idea. Then I look at my current layout and get all confused again.

BTW.....Sounds like you need a new keyboard.

John, you know about the last couple months for me... LOL A new keyboard is the least of my worries! The problem is, I keep spilling my coffee on it... and really the three and cue keys are not used that much...

Ohhhh, that stinks about your car... I vote for the original scheme... maybe you should do a poll..

I was going to have mine painted at Lanzini, glad i didn't though. The guy seems like a nice guy (and may be a nice guy) but doesn't seem like a reliable person. First quote he gave me 10 mins into the conversation was for $1000, then 5 mins later the price is $1700 (I was still ok with this price), but right before I left the shop he tells me the price would be closer to 2500. Maybe its just me but someone who does this kind of work on a daily basis should have an idea of how much things cost. At anyrate, they do nice work but seem a little disorganized. I highly recommend MOB Works for anyone looking for paint work in So. Cal. They pricing was very similar to Lanzini's, but there clear about what they'll be doing "paint process" and don't give you BS pricing just to get you interested

One of the nicer body kits that doesn't step on the 'toes' of the original car's beauty. Love it!

$2,500 CAD is about $2,100 USD, If that makes any difference to you.
