No SS ducktail

Nope. I don't really like the way that one looks or the CDC one. Thinking of adding the 3dCarbon one later on down the road.

final with body kit ....
I think your car looks great-have to agree with the ss kit looking good in mineral gray. Just wondering though if its just the pics or are your sideskirts a little lighter than the rest of the car and pieces?

I noticed that too. I'm not sure whats going on there. I noticed early today the factory paint on the rear bumper is also lighter than the rest of the car. The new paint matches the rear bumper though. Maybe its because the body kit is poly-urethane and the rest of the car is metal.

The reason I think this is because I've noticed it on other cars as well.

Mike's has something similar ....

and so does the Street Scene Mustang ....

the piant issue is the same on my silver. i noticed it the day i picked up the car from the dealer. something about the plastic/poly bumpers make the paint look a little different

i beleive its because of the stuff they add to the paint that lets the bumpers flex that makes the color a tad bit off

Can someone with that kit tell me the the front end clearance from lowest point in bumper to ground. I really want to add a kit but I have a 45 degree angle driveway and don't have much clearance even stock. People have told me driving in at an angle will help, but I wonder how much. I may be stuck just trying to add a CDC chin spoiler. Thanks.

The guys that painted my car did a perfect job. There is no colour difference between the factory paint and the bumpers As for the body kit, it drops it close to 2" so if you barely clear it now I don't think you would clear it at all with the kit. After lowering my car the front bumper only sits around 3.5" off the ground

wow yours does match pretty good though. Could be because of the color maybe? .... Doesn't show as much? .... because it still looks a tad off in this picture ....

Strange! Well the kit still looks really good, guess there is just a more noticable difference with the grey.

I like the SS kit too and plan to add CDC spoiler and CDC Qtr window scoops. How much should I expect to pay for having the SS kit painted and installed? And about what's an average price for the kit and shipping? Do you guys keep the old kit, get a price reduction, or sell on e-bay?

Price to have it painted and installed varies a lot depending on the quality you are getting. I wanted a showroom finish so the guys epoxy coated all the parts, primed painted and cleared. To paint the body kit and the louvers cost $2,500 CAD (which is about 20 bucks US...just kidding). The job was excellent. Paint matches perfectly. I know someone else that only paid $800.00 US to have his painted. His paint does not match, has a few runs in the paint and it is chipping easy. I bought my kit from lmperformance.com. They had the cheapest price at the time. I don't think any companies take trades so you wouldn't get a price reduction. I kept all of the old parts and mounted them onto the wall in the garage. I even have my old exhaust system. I'm sure one of these days I will put them up for sale.

I love the look of ya'ls cars! I'm thinking on the Cervini kit myself, but according to their website, the front bumper clearance with stock suspension is 5.5"... I've dropped the car with Eibach's Pro-kit, so that takes clearance down to 3 3/4", and if you get rims and tires and they are a bit smaller than stock? drops you even more... don't know what to do, I guess I'll see when I'm actually ready to buy it...

I agree with Adrenalin you won't clear with the kit if you're having trouble now... no question.

I had a similar problem at my apartment building but was able to switch to another garage that had a better driveway so now I don't scrape
