IMO I like the side stripes. I think they finish the car off nicely.

You going to be contacting them about a kit? I'm curious if they have some different options then others or they simply renames to the closest factory paint color.

The charcoal metallic looks very different compared to the alloy metallic. The charcoal metallic looks like it has a little bit of "mineral gray" in it.....whereas the alloy metallic is a very very dark looking gray.

I think HiPro is using Ford colours in the chart you see on their website. I tried calling/contacting BSM originally but no one there returns any messages. Therefore, I am probably going to get my stripes from HiPro....their website prices are super inflated, but the prices on their Ebay store are much more reasonable.

That's right, the charcoal definitely has a brown tinge to it, where that's not the case with the alloy. You did confirm these are actually two different vinyls then? Where are you comparing the two colors? Also what's the name of their ebay store? Thanks!

That's an old picture from when I first put the vinyl stripes on. Car's been through a few changes since then, I'll get some fresh pics up when I get her back next week and the chrome wheels and chin will return.

Hi Pro uses I believe mostly 3M and there is another brand that is listed on their website. I think BSM uses only 3M. I was just looking at the colours on their respective web sites.

They have multiple listings in the following link to the Ebay store:

Things are taking a bit longer then expected, it's still in the Service Department for the mechanical vibe so the body shop has not had a chance to finish it off. Stopped by yesterday and got to check it out all wet sanded before polish and detail.

After a careful inspection I noticed the hood stripes are off center by about 1/4 inch so they will be redoing the hood. There are a couple slight "off" areas on the rear as well, which I believe to be a result of them not laying the stripes out with the parts assembled on the car for an exact alignment. I'm thinking I'll just live with it as you have to be really looking for issues to notice.

Stripe alignment aside, the finish is excellent and he quality of the paint job I am very happy with. Once the hood gets all straightened out I'm going to be very pleased overall. What do you guys think, especially about the rear?

I ordered a set of side stripes from them. Very responsive and so far easy to work with. They are going to re-create my GTA and are making the stripes the exact same measurements as before (worried about fading). They will use Avery vinyl and he says the match is very close with the Alloy. I'll let you know how they turn out!

For some reason the colour of the stripes on the front bumper and the front of the hood look like they have a matte finish compared to a more glossy finish in the back.

They also look more "black" than "alloy metallic" compared to the pictures you put up earlier.

The hood and bumper were rough, either they had not yet been polished after wet sanding or they had not yet started wet sanding the rear. The color is the same, alloy is difficult to tell from black especially in direct sunlight. I'll get some good pics of the color and metallic finish once it's all home and polished up so you can see exactly what it looks like.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I guess one thing to remember is a human being is doing the work and not a machine. With the vinyl everything is cut to be perfectly spaced and aligned, whereas a body shop has to rely on a steady hand and and painters tape. I've seen some say lasers were used to line their stripes up but the place I used doesn't have any equipment like that. The paint quality and finish are excellent though, even better then the factory paint so all in all I think I'll be very happy with it.
