Some new exterior mods on my GT
#21
Will do. I have to go now and support my girls. Last weekend (outside the strip club) my pony served as a stable of sort's and I don't think my Hurst shifter will ever be the same...

John, it's been a while since I've seen you on TMS, bro. Your ride looks great! And 295's... Depending on how well this second job goes, I may get some 18x10's for the rear with 285 or 295 tires.
And UnitedStangs is a really cool forum, for anyone interested. Much smaller... and some real nice peeps there.

Hey swingle007,
Did you have any problems with the Smoothie IIs wobbling? Just got mine back from having the tires mounted and balanced, brought them home, put 'em on, and am getting a wobble. :bang: I have 18x9 front, 18x10 back.
Also see you have different centercaps on the front and back. They sent me 3 rims with the engraved lettering and one with the color logo. I had 'em send me another engraved centercap to have them all match.

No wobble so far.....yeah, the fronts were sent from Ohio and the rears came from AZ so the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing...I'll get them switched out here shortly....Good pick on the wheels bro....I'm liking them!

Hey Rocky.....255/45/18 in front and 295/45/18 in the rear.....seems like everybody goes to the 35 height when they switch to 18", and I really wanted to fill in the wheel wells as much as possible so we used the taller tire...This size is perfect using the Nittos, and there's no rubbing even after the drop......thanks again for the props everybody!!!
John
P.S. You coming to the get together today Steve?

WOW! that is one hot car Swingle, i love the stance and also the fact that the tires are meatier on the back compared to the fronts, muscle car style!! Now thats a fitting tribute to what the 05 mustang should look like. I want my stang just like yours, except with a 3d carbon ducktail!
