Some confusion about parts for front end conversion

I have a list of parts that I had copied from this forum for the GT 500 front end conversion about month or so ago. About 2 days ago I found another, nearly identical list, posted by tmcolgr. Problem is that with my original list, even though it shares the majority of part numbers, it contains two different parts that are not shown on tmcolgr's list. And likewise, he has two parts listed that aren't on my current list. I'm curious if they are interchangable or maybe an upgrade to some extent because all of the other parts match up on the lists? Though they do appear to be listed as different parts/prices when I checked on the web. So which parts are the ones that I actually need?

I've only posted the parts from each list that are different, all of the other parts are identical.
Thank you for your help

tmcolgr's list:
7R3Z-17752-A Bumper mounting (RH)
7R3Z-17753-A Bumper mounting (LH)

my list:
7R3Z-17C861-A Reinforcement
7R3Z-17C861-B Reinforcement

Where are you buying your parts from? Just call KC and he'll give all the parts to you as a "kit":

He makes it so easy has some of the best prices.

Thanks Ray Man. Even though I am considering the purchase through KC, but I was trying to get a list together so I could run it by two Ford dealers that I do business with nearby. I just wanted to see what kind of price they could give me for comparison purposes. But you do make a very good point in that KC sells it as a "kit" and takes away all of the guesswork as seen in my initial post...hmmm

Mark, I'm pretty sure you will get a better price from KC. I did the same thing you are planning. Talked to my local Ford body shop. They priced the parts out at something like $200 more than KC.

You can ask KC to have the parts drop shipped directly to your body shop and they'll be there waiting when you bring your car in.

I don't know the total price of the parts now. It has gone up since I did my conversion. If I remember right, the cost of the painting and installation at my body shop was about $400.

WOW! Painting and installation was only $400.00?? Thats a great price. I don't think I will find a deal even close to that around here. I don't think I will even get the part painted for that, but I could be wrong. I had actually planned on installing the parts myself after they were painted. I also want to get the rear bumper cover as well from my dealer.
It sounds like I'm doing more work right now than I need to if KC's price is that good. That settles it then, I'll just wait for him to come back from vacation and give him my "christmas list".

touring,

You have to send an e-mail to KC and request his "Hot sheets" which will have the pricing. He won't, nor will anyone here, post the prices on the open forum.

If you do a Shelby Conversion search I'm sure you'll find all kinds of part numbers. Just look through OKLACOP's thread it's full of great info. Here's his list:

If you buy through KC it just takes all the hassel out of worrying about missing one little part and he's done it a million times. He can answer any questions you may have. (of course we are here for you also ) And he's quick with the shipping too.

Too bad he's on vacation.

Post pictures as you progress and of course when it's all finished!

Yeah, ordering through KC looks to be the best way for me to get those parts. And don't worry Ray, if I have questions (and I will), I'll be calling on all of you...that is a certainty
I've read through your "how to" a couple of times Jesse. Great info and just what I needed as a guide.

Thanks again guys
