Solution for "high" rocker stripes

I know some people are complaining about how everyone's rocker stripes are too high up
there is no way around where to put them, because any lower, and they're hidden in the body's curve
I thought of a way to solve it, though.
If you use v6 rockers -black- they would not look so high up on the car. Even cooler would be chrome instead of black. The most retro IMO would be chrome rockers.
The last thing is that lowering the car would improve the odd height of the stripes as well. thats my $.02

It depends on the car you are looking at. People are just putting on the stripes where they think they look good. Because of the location there is no points you can reference too (actually measure) so it is all just eye-balling it and saying "ya, that looks good".
