Here is my brand new 2006 GT vert. It has 100 miles on it and was deleivered on 2/17/2006.

Hope they just have the bumpers on while they line up the stripes.....and should take them off when they clear them??

I agree with you 100%. Thats how we did mine. It's the only way to get it right the first time.

Bumpers and spoiler are just on for again for stripe allignment of course. They also had to do some fancy surface-leveling and filling , and added a plastic bonding agent used on lower valance, where the surface is pebbled and not smooth.
The entire car is not masked off yet because painter wanted me to approve the layout today. Then it was buttoned up for spraying.
He is spraying base coat color (chameleon red-green) now - then the orange pearl highlights will be fogged in tomorrow with wet coats (clear) and lotsa wet-sanding polishing and all that good stuff. I hope they finish it next week! It is 65 here today!
