Looks good, but I'm going to go with a :notnice: for safety and liablility.

I could just see someone pulling out in front of me, I hit them, they claim they didn't see me, and the investigating officers make a note that I had these over my lights.

But I think they look great.
I can see it if you left them on at night - but I'm not buying the argument you just proposed...

IMHO

Someone pulls out in front of me - I'm hitting everything but the lights - starting with the BRAKES and then the HORN...
If you've got time to play with the lights after hitting the brakes and horn and there's still an investigation - you were going way too fast in the first place..

6 & 1/4" will cover the actual lamp lense edge to edge.

I cut my own set of fog covers from the dark static-cling film. After measuring the lamp diameter inside the bezel, I used a compass to draw a perfect circle, 6 & 1/4" in diameter on a thin sheet of file folder cardboard. After cutting this template out and checking the fit, I traced around it with a with a Sharpie pen onto the film, cut 'em out and cleaned off any missed pen marks with alchohol. Cleaned my fogs and stuck 'em on. Total time, about an hour, including the trip to P-Boys for the film ($2.99 for 16"x16")!

Cheap, works great and looks good.

In my example, night time was implied. I thought it would be obvious it wouldn't matter during the day.
