There was a guy at the IASCA finals in 1993 that had all his windows do that, but it was wired through the ignition. It was sweet as heck, but he was part of a military engineering team that developed the stuff. It was expensive as all get out at the time, but maybe now it's more affordable. I'll see if I can find more info onthat car, just for gits and shiggles.

I sent MRT an E mail inquiring about theses covers. They say that they do not have them. Did you make a mistake on the source? I want the automatic ones. Thanks

MRT had them on their SEMA car last year. At last report they were working on perfecting them and using lower cost materials, they must cost a lot. Therefore they technically do not have them for sale....

I wish they would come out with them, I would be very willing to pay a high price for some covers with this feature. ... as long as they fit the Shelby as well.

Wish I had known that. I changed my mind and would have sold mine new in the package to you for 50 shipped. They are a film.

Put brighter lights behind them and you can't tell the difference.
Yeah but then you'll melt the housing that supports the headlights. Not a good idea.

How does your overlays work? Do you just need an actual foglight for measurements?

Forget it, I found a "Do it Yourself" kit, here in Germany.

Thanks anyway.

Here's a little different look. I wanted hard plastic covers so I went with the ones from California Mustang. The aluminum bezels are from S.S. Inserts, and the side marker overlays are from Park Cities Performance.

Very little light loss with the dark tint.
