Well with my headlights behind the smoked covers, I would love to bump the fogs up in brightness - thanks for the heads-up Todd!
The Silverstar bulbs are the stock wattage, so the heat output should be exactly the same as stock. This line of bulbs is currently the best, brightest, whitest bulb on the market. Once they release a 9008 bulb (which may not happen due to issues with the government about coated bulbs in the 9008 style), I WILL buy a pair.
I plan on upgrading my fog lights to proper driving lights this month, so I don't really have much reason to invest in the Silverstar fog bulbs. But if I wasn't, I would be pulling my credit car out as we speak!

I thought signatures were suppose to be limited to 8 lines, not 8 paragraghs.

First off let me defend those that made comments about my signature. When that post was made my signature was much longer. His comment was not the first. The purpose of the forum is to educate. Since 2 or more members complained about the length of my signature, I shortened it so we could get back to the business at hand - our Mustangs.
PS: I am very proud of my Mustang and if my wife ever complained about the time I spend working, reading or thinking about it, there would be serious problems. I sure would miss her.

I have been looking to do the same thing. For me avoiding deer on country roads
is a much higher priority than my need for fog lights.
A 9005 bulb will fit in the fog lamp and plugs in just fine. Plus NO issues w/ wiring or socket.
Quite bright too.
I am currently useing Nokia 9005 in fogs and Luks HB13 in headlites. These are "Xenon" colored. Nice bright white light.

I put in the 9145ST's and XtraVision headlights yesterday. The SilverStars are amazing and of course outshine the xtraVisions. Hopefully they will find a way to make SilverStar headlights too. The XtraVision headlights are supposed to be 20% brighter than stock but, you can't really tell it. Especially with the SilverStar fogs on.
