SilverHorse fuel door installed
Hey there just got the fuel door installed and thought I would post pics. Specially for anyone interested on what it would look like on a black stang.
First off I have to say the cliche
yes the quality of this thing is awesome and the install is really simple

Looks great Perry!
I'll second that. I got the fuel door and taillight panel as a b-day present for myself. Installing everything only took about 45 min from opening the box to having both pieces on the car. I also got the black fuel door but my GT's color is Redfire. Everybody like's the way the door look's and think's it's a great piece. If anybody want's to see pics just post a request!

Looks great, Perry!
SHR makes the best looking fuel door out there.
(I got the polished one myself!

Thanks for all the comments. I tossed around on the fuel door thing for awhile seeing that it does have a false gas cap in the back. But after putting it on and giving that extra little touch to the fuel door I couldnt be happier.
again SHR has great quality for those thinking on purchasing anything from them.

So to answer the question, it's not vinyl. You should check out the other thread on it, or check our website for some good close-up shots of it.

Using BASF-branded material is better than regular "plastics" because it won't fade/crack/discolor.
Infinity didn't make this translation, he made it better.
ROTFLMAO - That's good!!
Seriously, translation is that I want our parts to hold up at least as well as the cars they are going on, so I don't skimp on any part of the development or manufacture. The BASF slogan just aptly fits here because it's very true. There are a lot of plastics out there that we could use that would cost less, and you wouldn't know just by looking at a new part that we did. Ditto for the molds and equipment, we could do it overseas in a sweat shop, and it would cost 1/2 as much to produce or less, meaning nothing more than money in our pockets - but I'd rather do it the way we do and be able to sleep at night, even if it means I don't get to drive that new Aston Martin Vanquish that I want....
(Hey it's still a Ford!!)

And thanks for your dedication to Stangers.

I hope you're kidding, as Marcello obviously caught my play on the BASF slogan.
On Topic:
I really like the idea of a satin panel. My car is being done in a "Stealth Jet" type theme, where there will be nothing too shiny. That's why I am so interested in the black anodized peices that Silver Horse is doing.
