[attachmentid=32027][attachmentid=32026]I have the GT300 side stripes on my car and don't like the GT emblem above it. I want to replace the GT emblem with the running pony 06 version but then I feel I will have too many running pony emblems on the car since I have them on the bullitt wheel caps.
What is your opinion on the Ford spinner with the Ford logo on it. I was thinking of putting on the Ford spinner and the running pony side emblem and those I think would go well with the GT300 side stripe.

IMO, the fender ponies wouldn't be "too much" because the wheel ponies are so small.
Besides, that's the way the original Mustangs were when you got the upgrade wheels.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. I've got the pony spinners and a rocker stripes with "GT" on the stripe where you have 350. I know the holes line-up on the emblems, but how hard is it to pop-off the GT emblem and replace it with the running ponies? I don't want to damage the paint or ding the side panels.

It's not that hard. I did it on my '03 and I used a screw driver, just to get it started. Of course you'll use a towel to protect the paint. Just take it real slow and easy to get it started. Use a hair dryer to heat the emblem and tape before you begin.
A lot of people will tell you to use fishing line or floss to "saw" behind the emblem. I would avoid this procedure at all cost as it will not only leave tape residue on the paint, but also most of the tape itself.
Being as your car is still relatively new, you won't have any problems peeling the emblem off once it's heated.

I just replaced the GT emblems with the Running Pony logos this weekend. Heat up the emblem and I used a thin card (like a Blockbuster card) to pry under the emblem. A little tape residue was left to remove from the car. They look a lot better than the GT emblem. I have the Pony center caps as weel and they are so small that you don't notice the two of them together.
