Umm yep

Tooling is approved for production, aluminum sub plates arrived yesterday, and so it will be moving forward. We had a second prototype made incorporating minor changes, and caught an issue that came up because of software that wasn't in the first prototype.... so no problem, it's already been fixed, and with the changes, will go forward. We're still looking at end of November / Beginning December delivery of first pieces from the machine, I'll keep everyone posted as we go from here. Still unsure if we're doing a pre-order or not this time, it isn't easy to do when you have a bunch of products - with the first couple, it was all we had, and was easy to keep track of, now...it's another story

Currently we have the second prototype molded in a semi-clear plastic, so it shows up a lot better than the other one that we painted black (production pieces will all be black) - I'll get some more pictures shortly and post them up for everyone.

Looking forward to seeing them. I was thinking a matching lower grille to my CDC black one would be good but this could be a nice accent.

It states on the SHR website that these upcoming inserts will also work with the Agent 47 lower grill.

I was looking for an entry for the new inserts and didn't think to look in the A47 lower grille web entry.

Can we engineer a piece to work with a GT/CS - yes.

Will we be doing it - not likely. The tooling to manufacture it pretty much makes it "cost prohibitive", given the total # of GT/CS cars out there and the possible number of people that would then purchase the part. I'd be happy to make them, but I don't think you'd like the price we'd have to charge to recoup the investment in tooling for what would amount to probably under 1,000 pieces total production. With GT, there's a lot more cars out there, and even it is a risk, given that a lot of people swap the nose of the car, and then the piece doesn't work, unlike our louvers or honeycomb panel, which fit most, if not all cars (obviously with the exception of the convertibles).

As to the Agent 47 piece - we've got one here we've tested with, and while it is not 100% perfect (the Agent 47 piece does not follow the OEM part exactly) it is close enough that it will work fine, and on an Agent 47 lower, I'd expect the user would probably want to rivet / glue our inserts in anyway for better radiator protection. (Users of the brake ducts probably would be on track, hence the need to protect against stuff more...)

Probably not, mostly for the same reason - unless Roush contacted us and wanted us to produce it for them, it would be very difficult for us to market and sell enough of them to justify the initial production costs. The more specialized the car, the less likely someone other than the manufacturer of the car is going to be making a part for it, mostly for that reason.

Of course, we can always make one of anything - it's not the technology in the way, it's the price most people won't like.
