SHR Honeycomb Blackout Panel

I just took delivery of my new SHR Honeycomb Panel and I realize how simple installation is, but I want to see how everyone else installed it. Did you use a certain technique to center it up and make it really precise or did you just eyeball it? Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up Easy Task

Justin,

I just followed the instructions and did three practice runs before the final try.

I had my son help me with another pair of hands to help steady the panel.

It came out fine, but I was very nervous during the final application.

It is extremely worth it.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, I eneded up using a method I found on the internet of taping scotch tape to the covers on the 3m tape at the edges and centering it up with just the center 3m tape. All I had to do after that was pull the scotch tape attached to the covers exposing the 3m tape on the edges and push on to attach.

practice runs are great , however I wish I did that was slightly off center but carefully removed receneterd and it worked out fine, keeping it straight or level would be the task , so if say an outer marker or sticks could be place on like 4 or 2 corners I think that would help.
