I really like the look of the Nittos and can;t complain about the quality so far. SHould have no probs with 275s all around (Stedda Q cars all run that). I might just go 275s up front whenever I need new tires..... |

K I think that when people ask what do you think, theyre asking for "yes, i like them" or " no, i dont", but i noticed, not just on forums, but even where i live, if something is on a car that someone doesnt like they make so many rude comments about it. If people dont like something then just say its not your cup of tea. dont make anyone feel bad about what they like. For ex., i dont like bullit rims but i would never be rude and say how horribe it looks, or how it makes me rush to the er or anything of that like that. all im saying is can we all be a little respectful of other peoples choices? :dunno: |

He likes them obviously, and good on him for not giving in to common sense or any semblence of styling prowess. But buying those rims, and posting pics of them on a forum full of Mustang lovers...well if he couldn't see this coming, he needs his eyes checked. Hey Jason....it'll be part-time retro and part-time "the other theme" come spring time. Bought a brand new torque wrench over Christmas and a nice little hydraulic jack to make changing wheels as easy as changing underwear. Truth is, those Pirelli's make me ill when I push it and I got so tired of hearing about everyone's bigger wheel/tire combo's (and how great they are) that it made me sick. Besides, the credit card was at "0" for a change and we just can't have that, can we?? And that retro thing.....it's just a big fad (OK, just kidding).
No....the Magnums are gonna stay for show I think. The new tires/wheels are gonna be for the GO when I feel like it. So give the new ones a chance brother !! Me thinks they might just look OK. Talk to ya - Mark PS 2Toys....no such luck yet with bigger than 18's from Wheel Vintiques, they're pretty slow to respond to this kinda thing. And their current 18's won't fit our cars (yet). Too bad....deep dish 18s with the correct offset would be killer. Originally posted by StangNut@January 3, 2006, 8:13 PM  Aw, man. What happen to the "true retro" theme? :-D |

I just saw a set of four 18s with Nitto rubber get away from me on ebay for 999 and that was the BUY IT NOW price. Makes me sick that I didn't have the funds at the moment or I would have snatched those suckers up! |
