Tires are Bridgestone RE760's, 255/45R18 from Discount Tire. The ride to work (~25Mi) was very nice with new tires.
BTW, the original Pirelli tires (235-55-17) still have probably another 5k left after running for 38k miles, but after 5yrs, have gotten pretty hard riding..

I am thinking that is the way I will go. On my '08 GT the standard 17" bullets are a "sparkle silver" and I added the running pony center caps to replace the plain ford logo. I like the wheels on my Vapor Silver car, except I want 18" wheels, so these seem ideal and a better lip design, too.
One other question. The offset on these 18" wheels seems a bit odd (50mm), and about 1/4" to 1/2" more than other 18" wheels. Does that make the tread stick further out from under the fenders than is comfortable? Have you seen any interference issues when in a full-lock turn? I'm a little worried about throwing more stones and crap on the sides and don't want to get mud flaps.

boss 338 wheels
ok ive never been on a fourm before and nore have i ever posted on one so please bare with me... a few pages back someone wanted to see what the boss 338 wheels looked like.. i recently got them on my car and im still trying to find love for them.. i get compliments all the time but i dont know what to think.. i love the alocas that come on the super snake. but the 500 buck price range for one is too steep for just a rim. but heres my rig and i want to see what you guys think..?

boss 338 wheel
in my honest opinion, the boss wheel line is ok.. id much rather have american racing torque thrust hot rod series. but what im getting at is the boss 338 is about the same as the foose legend or what ever it is. the foose is made in china and the boss is made in usa. looking at for hours various rims at a rim shop, all of the china rims look like they were dipped in chrome paint while the usa rims look like they were dipped in a proper manner. "the look professional" thats why i havent considered the bullets off of american racing or replicas or anything. ive seen lots of cracked rims and if im gonna be paying good money i dont want that. everybody is going for looks vs quality. no offense to anyone im just stating a point. im not a very nice driver to my car. i treat it like im in a road course most of the time. so i want a rim that will withstand powerslides and harsh burnouts and all that good stuff. and if you think about it rally cars can snap rims like nothing... get my point?

Let me be the first to say, these are not for the faint at heart.
I understand these are love 'em or hate 'em wheels - but they were the perfect finishing touch to my retro inspired pony. California Pony / Nxt Generation styled steel (SS) chrome wheels with painted inserts, 17 x 8 + red Mustang center caps. Reused the factory 255/50/17 rubber - still like the tall sidewalls.
