I guess I'm the only one brave enough to cut the stock springs. They've been cut for over a year and have had no problems.
1 coil cut in the front and 2 in the rear!!!!!
Alot cheaper than aftermarket and still rides good!!!

Yeah, wish I was brave enough to do that. Would've saved me $150 for the Steeda springs.

Looks like you could still stand to cut a little more off the rear.

I was thinking about cutting another 1/4 - 1/2 coil to see how it looks.

Love the car, I almost bought one just like it with no rear spoiler. I love the look of ducktails. What rear spoiler are you using? does it mount to the rear holes of the stock spoiler?

Thanks
Yep, it's the Roush spoiler
It mounts in the factory holes on the decklid, but you have to drill holes for the side pieces into the qt panels.

Eibach Pro Kit springs.

I have to whole heartedly agree with RadBOSS(Paul) - only installing the rear set of aftermarket springs, while improving the pure look of the vehicle, will negatively affect the driving dynamics. aftermarket springs have totally different spring rates over the stockers...i assume the stock springs are linear too. and don't even get me started on cutting the stock springs . you may no notice anything wrong during your daily milk run, but put the car on the track and it'll smack you in the face. even for me i regret not installing the properly valved shocks that belong with the pro-kits (either pro-dampers or tokicos). i knew i should have at the time, but didn't really have the cash - they will be installed sometime this year for sure.

i guess it just comes down to what you're comparing the mustang too. if you're used to driving a k-car...well then...

sorry if i offend - i just feel strongly about this.

k

eibach sportlines lowered my car 2+ in back and 2.25 in front. add in the temporary 225/45 tires up front and its a solid 2.5+ drop lol...i scrape everywhere, but never badly. i recommend bigger rims if you want more than 2in drop, though it is dead freakin sexy lookin

Install was not bad but the vert has those extra bars(for stiffening?) that had to be removed and put back onand I get my alignment done on monday, but not bad so far

FRPP springs, struts and shocks 1" drop in the front 1 1/4" rear CHE Severe Duty adj. panhard bar. It moved about 8 mm.

Halibrand Cobra III 18X9 w/275/40/18

I'll have to edit pic and repost / the pics don't resize well. will get new pic tomorrow in the sun

The ride is firmer than stock. The rear schocks could be softer on the compression and stiffer on the rebound. I'm going to install some hiem jointed parts and see if that doesn't help. Otherwise it is way better. Will only add adj rear bar for the rear and poly bushings for the front

who installed all your springs? If you had someone do it for you, how much did it cvost, and how long?

I'm going with Eibach Pro-Kit, and I see some of you with the prokit have differen't level of drops, can it be adjusted? or is that how it is?
