I was reading on another site where a few people were having fading issues with the silver razor wheels. They said it looked discolored over time. Has anyone had issuers with them. Cause I am thinking of picking up a set from American muscle.

n8tv,

We haven't had any issues with our wheels at all. We put all of our wheels through road testing, finish testing, durability testing and much more before we release them! We pride our self's in our wheels and just for a little state of mind we offer a 2 year finish warranty/lifetime structural warranty!

Like listed above you definitely want to make sure your cleaning them with the proper products. We recommend Warm water and soap just to be safe, I'm not a huge fan of any wheel product on a high polish wheel.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

Mine are still fine. I've had them 4 years, although my car is a sunny weekend toy. She usually gets washed after each outing but, at the very least I clean the wheels after each trip.......although that usually just a wipe with a damp cloth. Even when dirty, I only ever use warm water to clean them.

I have the silver ones, thought they were discontinued and that you could only get black and gunmetal now? Anyway, I've had mine for over 2 years and I live in sunny Arizona, car regularly parked outside during the day at work (garage queen as of June, but prior to that a daily driver). Not a single issue with color or finish on the wheels. The center caps are a joke, they faded yellow and the clear part crumbled and fell apart within 3 months in the sun here. Wheels themselves though have been perfect.
