the CS6 radiator cover is identical to the stock GT cover, except for it having two cuts to allow the hood pin brakets to be mounted onto the k member, and stick out through the cover to give a base for the pins.

You could use the stock cover, and mount the pins on the sides, where the two rubber hood bumps are..

in my case i'm using the full GT500 fascia, i.e: GT500 grille and no fitment issues.
not sure why on the site they require the V6 grille..

p.s: the $1100 USD shipping was for the CS6 parts alone.. i too managed to order the GT500 parts directly through my dealer here

I think that is mainly for the CS6 Fascia. I was pricing out the full CS6 package and the fascia is for a V6 which in turn will only fit a V6 grill. There is a mounting difference between the GT and V6.

I can't wait to see your car either, these are the body parts I am looking heavily at myself.

 

Like I said in my post a few weeks back the CS6 hood and Shelby front look sweet. Are you changing your wheels? I'm going to run 20" Razors blacked out.

 

not sure yet when to do so, i figured i'd spend the money on big brakes and a H&R coilover suspension upgrade for now

God knows how long it will be but my wife just offered to get the CS6 hood for me as an early Christmas gift.:gr in:

I saw it for the first time in person at tower shops. It is a really nice hood. Had attitude and isn't over bearing.

Can't wait to see it with your Finished GT 500 front.

Very nice looking ride, but you do realize you posted your photo in a thread from around 7 years ago, where the topic was a hood your car doesn't have?
