This seems to compound a mistake by Ford. Now with this new lower grille you'll have the fogs where the driving lights should be and the driving lights where the fogs should be. In both cases the lights will be in less than optimum positions. Don't you just love it, this must be one of their better ideas.

Or maybe it's just me.

Are you sure they are actually out yet. I didn't see them on the Shelby site and postings on other forums have them 6 weeks out yet? I went and ordered them anyway, I am just hoping it is not a long wait?

I wonder if I can get these to work on my V6. I bet I can..... I made it happen for my Bullitt CAI. That would be sweet. I received my Shelby catalog in the mail today and I liked them. The prices are $149.95 for the bezels kit and $219 for the pair of PIAA driving lights. If you want the brake cooling kit it will be $179.95 for the 05-08 GT500 and GT's. The 07-08 Shelby GT and Cal Special are more. It says Feb 08 is the available date for the brake cooling kits. The bezels are available now.

Just an FYI....

I contacted Shelby Performance about the availibility of these items. They sent me an email back already informing me that it was a mistake on Moss's end and that these items are still about 3 months out. If this is true........I may have to reconsider doing business with Moss....advertising something that is not availible yet...........that's just wrong.

Update: I just got off the phone with someone at Moss, Shelby Performance is the supplier and they are approximately 3 months away from being availible. Funny thing is, you can't even pre-order them from Shelby yet. Moss needs to get their s**t together before they put items up on their site.

Owners of Shelby GT's could get them put on before it was shipped to the dealer. I have had mine since '07 and love them. Great item and once they hit vendors I am sure they will sell very quick. I get asked all the time where to get them.

I would really like to have this lower fog/brake duct combo on my GT, but they wouldn't fit a GT even if they were available, so I am looking to fabricate my own. It can't be all that hard, and wouldn't be nearly as expensive as ordering from Shelby. The problem is finding peices that can be fashioned to acheive the same look. Aluminum plate and hardware from Home Depot, small fogs from local parts house, easy. My difficulty comes in finding some type of trim ring, or tube with a flange that would finish off the holes nicely. Without it, I would have to make some very nice holes for it to look nice and finished . As far as the lights go, are PIAA really that much better to warrant over $200? There are similar looking lights at the auto parts stores for under $50. I'm not quite as worried about piercing the darkness for 3 miles as I am about a having nice finished look and (once I add the Bullit grille) having people stop flashing me because they think my fogs are brights. Oh yeah, and looking "Shelby GTish" aint bad, either. Ideas?

Thanks Bob! That's exactly what I'm looking for! I'll try the local Best Buy or car stereo center, but I've got no problem ordering online if I need to. This may work afterall.

Check out how this guy made his own lower fog lights. I know he has a Shelby GT but you could probably use his method to make it work for a GT.

Fantastic. That is just what I want to do. He had a good idea on making them adjustable, too. I would also like to make brake ducts next to them like the ones offered by Shelby, but without the price. They don't even have to be functional to look good, and I can always hookem up later then money allows. Thanks!

Should. It uses the same setup as the GT / CS / Shelby GT.

the upper grill will fit without the factory fogs, the side chrome trim is larger and will not allow the GT fogs to fit. the lower grill is the same as the GT not the GT/CS, so that will not fit.

hello Doug Im west of you in KS. thank you for the information ,what are you refering to the the side chrome trim larger, the outer area around bullitt Grill I presume, have you seen a bullitt grille in any GT/CS ? I am not fond of the 2 large center lights anyway so if the Grill fits to original mount areas is what Im Hoping for that will be fine without them,
what did you use for your 2 lower small lights, and mounting ? that is a C/S correct?

Actually the GT/CS is the basis for the Shelby GT. The bottom grill will fit a GT/CS from Shelby. I also have this and love it...plus it protects the exposed radiator from rocks.

The GT/CS and the Shelby GT have the same lower and the GT and the Bullitt have the same lower, but the GT/CS and Shelby GT are different then the GT and Bullitt.

the original question was, "will the 08 Bullitt grill fit into the California CS/GT mounting areas?" in short, No per above description.

Let me know how that Bullitt Grille Looks in the C/S front of your stang, and if any modifications had to be done to fit it, all mounting tabs look the same as Mine ,I compared the 2 but they are mounted and cant sell all areas, Silverhorse is working on a Lower Grille for the C/S.

Reviving a thread! Doug, how do you wire up the PIAA lights? I see there is a plug. What does that connect to? Thanks for the help.

Placed an order for the bezels and the brake duct kit. I'm sure I can find cheaper than $200+ PIAA fogs somewhere on flebay.

I'm also planning on fabricating a fog delete upper grill, so I will have the lower fogs wired to the current big fogs that I'll be eliminating.
