Shelby to GT

Is there a online shop that makes a kit for putting shelby exterior body parts on a regular GT?

Such as:
Front and rear bumper
And or lip kit

I have friend of a friend who custom made a Shelby front lip fit is GT... But I was wanting a kit ... I have no garage skills :-(

Hello.... Glad to be here. Oh and another question:

Ok found a entire 07 shelby cobra suspension set up for sale for $250.... I was going to buy it, however was told it is not much better than what GTs come with and it would ride real rough due to my car being lighter

Since this is your first post I would tecomentld making an introduction thread in the introduction section.

Also there shouldn't really be any modifications other than fog lights if you get a bumper with them.

Yea I'm using the app and it's hard to navigate... And if I get off the 05-09 threads I get depressed because I really want a 5.0 :-(

I was told by every local shop (Dallas tx area) u can not buy Shelby "body kits" the only way to purchase the cobra look is through a junk yard... You have to provide a Vin number to shelby if you were to wreck ur cobra ( like if you purchased a cobra only being used to GM products an you were not used to real power and drove the cobra into a wall)

If you all know where to buy cobra front and rear bumper you let me know!!!!

It's easy. Not saying I've done it before you find a cobra. Take the vin. Then when you call you give them that vin.

Also I'm from cleburne tx. Sounds Luke your close. There is a car meet tonight on beach street in ft worth

Dude you can buy a GT500 front fascia if you want. The kit is like $2,500 and it's a pretty easy swap out. The rear bumper is the same as the California Special and you see those on Craiglist all day long for $175-200.

Glad you still like my front end Dave. (lol)

The GT500 bumper is a direct bolt-on because it is literally the same casting as the GT/CS (as Taxman said). The only difference between the two is how they are painted (GT500 lower valence is black all across, GT/CS is only around the exhaust/diffuser area)

I bought a used GT500 bumper off someone on this forum in the ~$200 range and swapped it out in under two hours. You just gotta watch out for the wiring harness (may have changed after my '06):
