Shelby GT 500 Chin Spoiler on GT Fascia?

This may not be possible to do, but do you think the chin spoiler from the GT 500 could be melded to the lower front fascia of a standard GT? There would be a gap because the shape of the lower edge of the standard fascia (between the headlights). I'm only brainstorming this because I don't think I want to go the whole nine yards for the full GT 500 fascia.

From what I have seen, the only thing that comes close to the GT 500 spoiler is the Legend chin spoiler. The others out there look (to me) to be too big.

Seems to me it would come closer to fitting the V6 front fascia than the GT since the GT has that cut out section in the center.

it won't fit really.. i've had the GT500 chin spoiler sitting next to my GT front fascia while working on the covnersion and could easily tell it wont fit, at least without drilling and rivetting, as the spoiler's mounting bracket has no place to fit on the GT bumper cover.
and as Jay said, the lines won't quite match

I guess that's what I thought all along. Thanks for the confirmation. I might still go for the Legend chin spoiler.

That Legend chin spoiler is the best looking chin spoiler out there IMHO...
