Shelby Bumper conversion?

Shelby Bumper conversion?
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and just placed an order for a Vista Blue GT. I would like to order the Shelby front bumper conversion for my new car but all the local ford dealers tell me no such thing exists! I have been reading the posts for a while and was wondering if Kevin at Clevenger Ford is the only one around providing this kit? I live in Connecticut and would prefer obtaining one from a nearby source, to save shipping costs.

I bought mine from Kevin and I live in Va. Honestly you might be able to get the parts from your local dealer but chances are they haven't delt with this before. Kevin has done tons of these packages so I would go with him.

I ordered 90% of my Shelby stuff through my local Ford dealer. KC helped me on a few of the things. Your Ford dealer is yankin ya!!!!! I would have gotten everyting through KC, but shipping would have killed me.
Good Luck!

I agree KC would be the best way to go with the front Shelby conversion. KC has done a ton of these and would hook you up with everything you need to execute a perfect conversion. I couldn't see myself trying to order these parts from my local dealer because for one, they would look at me like I'm crazy and two it probably would be too expensive.
My car is in the shop right now getting the full treatment and I can't wait to get it back. You won't regret doing the swap!

2L8IWON and 555's cars have definitely inspired me, as well, to go ahead and do the Shelby conversion. Definitely two of the best-looking Mustangs I've ever seen.
I do have one question, however. Is the chin spoiler integrated with the fascia, or is it a separate piece? I'm asking because, if possible, I'd like my car devoid of the chin spoiler.

Its an extra piece. You could go without it if you want to. I do believe there may be gaps where the wheel well meets the bottom of the bumper, I don't remember. I too thought about taking mine off but it def has protected me form scraping it on sharp driveways and in case I drive a little too close to those curb bumper in the parking lot.

It does get scratched up though, but a quickhit of sand paper and some tire dressing and it looks good as new
