First of all, I don't like chrome. Second, I just didn't like the round emblem on the trunk lid. So, off it went! It DOES leave holes, but on this car, a perfect place for my emblems.

I am sure you will all have opinions, and I am open to them.

Got the idea from CDC...

looks good... but is that a "Police Interceptor" emblem on the back?

And what is the other one?

I think it would look better done all the way with no emblems and no key lock.

Understand why you would want to delete the emblem but not for me. The retro theme is what drew me to the car. That emblem may not be the best looking to some but it is pure original Mustang. I'm glad Ford put it on there. Looking forward to seeing more pics. Actually had mine off today as well having the panel blacked out. Looked perfect to me once the emblem was back on! Good luck with your mods Derek.

I like it, but what emblems do you have there now?
does it say...
SUPERCHARGED on top and
POLICE INTERCEPTOR on the bottom?

something needs to be there, but I do agree that the huge circle was too bulky

My emblem must have looked pretty good, because some ***** stole levered it off the back of my car last night with a screwdriver, now I have a nice scratch throught the paint and a big black circle of double sided tape

Where's Crash? And what do those emblems say? We're all guessing and he's not telling! I like the original badge, but I also like the version without the badge and key hole. Either way, I like the fact that you guys feel free to customize your rides to your liking. Although I'm more of a stock purist, I enjoy seeing how guys personalize their rides.

Right now, those emblems look like dealer name badges. I wish I knew for certain what they said.

Eh, ain't my thing... but good work, man! I do think the GT badge could have been a little smaller, less "blingish".

I liked the retro look of the emblem on back, like someone else mentioned, it is a big part of the whole "retro" theme of the car.

I think I would loose the emblems, and leave it blank there.

That makes no sense, but ok.

Anyway, it's an interesting look, but I like the original emblem, maybe he can give it to the guy that had his stolen, they're like $63.00 I guess is what he said.

I replaced my GT faux gas cap with the one off the V6 and I bought mine for $45 at my dealer. $63 sounds expensive. As far as taking it off all together, I don't like it a bit. If you don't like chrome, paint it black.
