Sequential Tail Lights
To all of you that have installed the sequential tail lights in your 05. What brand did you chose and how difficult of a process was it to install them. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
I have the Webelectric's plug and play version. I was able to do it myself in about an hour.

I also did the Webelectric plug in and it was a piece of cake and I am not one to do much on my own. They work great.
Heres a video in the dark with the hazards on. This is they way they light up for signaling, only both at the same time

I have the webelectric ones. They work great. I highly recommend them. Do a search in the exterior mod section. You will find lots of info on sequentials. Some of us, myself included, have posted detailed installation instructions.

just installed the webelectric ones last night. Took right around an hour. But I also have the shaker 1000 and have seen where a few people had problems etc. I found using ratchet wrenches made it ALOT easier to install with the shaker unit. Deffinately a great mod. The instructions are also very easy to follow.
I bought these:

Same thing, just cheaper.

I am not sure But I believe there is a way to bypass the brake lights from sequencing. Do a search in the exterior mods section it may have the info there your looking for.

Are you sure they use the same materials? I know I doubt it.

They are from M&M Electronics. It took me about an hour to install.
They work great. The only difference I can tell is that one is in-line
in the trunk behind the panel and the other is the harness.
There are pluses and minuses to each.
I wanted mine out of the elements and the $90-100 difference sold me.
I think web-e has a product out that is in-line for around $75ish.
From what I have seen people have been happy with both.

I bought the same thing. I made an offer under $50 and he took it.

That's the set I have as well. It's not a plug-and-play setup, but it's pretty quick to install nonetheless. I didn't care for how they just blobbed sealant all over the modules to damp-proof them, but they're concealed behind the trunk panels, so they can't be seen. So far I've had no trouble with them.

Do any of the kits limit sequencing to the turn signals alone? I don't want the brake lights/emer flashers to sequence.

There is a mod for that, but I read through it and it looked like a pain-in-the-rear. You've got to tap into some wiring under the dash and run it all the way back to the taillights. I like the stop lights sequencing though, it gets people's attention. It's much more visible than standard stop lights.

The instructions I was referring to were off of a web site. Maybe yours are easier, but if it involves removing seats and pulling up carpet to route the wires then I will stick by the pain-in-the-rear assessment
