I installed my sequential tail lights from Webelectricproducts.com today.
It was a easy job and the directions were well written.

I am pretty sure its just two pieces that come with cdc, pretty much just plug and play. Web electrics, at least the not plug and play has more wires, and wiring clamps, and relay etc. I havent heard of too many doing the web electric plug and play, but either way it shouldnt be hard. I do love my cdc, and the quality was nice kit, and just a quick removal of the light housings, and plug in, good luck.

Not sure about the CDC ones but I love the webelectronics. For the support and service alone I would recommend them. The kit works great. Had mine since December.

Do either of the two (or both) use the third bar (normally only for braking) on the side brake lights?

Not sure what you mean but I am going to take a guess. Are you talking about using all 3 bulbs per side? When using your brakes, the factory setup only uses 2 bulbs per side. Does not use the inner bulbs. Those are for taillights only. The webelectronics kit turns those inner bulbs into brake lights and part of the signal.

Not sure if that answers your question but I really didn't understand your question.

I don't know much about the CDC Dynamite sticks. I spoke to an owner of a 68 shelby who said he got them from CDC twice and both times they lasted less than a year.

Sorry for the delayed response.

The CDC sequentials are not a full "Plug-N-Play" harness. They do have plugs that in go in-line with the stock harnesses, but you then have to run wires out to the inner sockets, slice the gasket in the sockets, and put a connector into it to convert them to brake/turn/tail lights. I would say it's a step between the splice-in kits and the full pre-wired harnesses that I offer.

There is more information in this thread:

and on my web site.

Thanks, Ill check that thread, I dont know how easy yours is but the CDCs only took me 20 min to install both, it seemed really easy, so what you are saying is that the main difference is the installation process? I am not sure if I follow completely on the connector to convert them to brake/turn/tail lights, could you explain please, because all I did was plug them in to the stock wiring and it worked and it does so as all of the above. Thank you.

Wasn't there a wire on each module that you have to run out to the inside socket? If you don't do that, the inside lamp will not function as a sequential turn signal.

Mine are complete harnesses. You remove the stock harnesses and put mine in. That's it.

Then you have a choice. You can keep your stock harnesses (some people like to keep the original, un-altered parts) or you can send them back to me for a $40 rebate.

I'm sure that you will be satisfied with your choice, especially for what you paid. But for those considering a retail purchase, I think the pre-wired harnesses along with the rebate is the easiest, most economical choice.

Have fun!

Is there any way to control or adjust the flash rate, or is that controlled by the flasher unit...?
