So, I think I'm planning on buying a Mustang soon. (Test drove a V6 recently; decided that the GT is really where it's at, as mileage isn't all that imporant since it'll sit at home in my garage most of the time.)

I was perusing EBay's mustangs and ran across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...=ADME:B:EF:US:1

I love most of the mods on this! Is it worth it?

It says eleanor mustang, yet it isnt an eleanor kit from anyone. The xenon from bumper they claim looks more like a lip spoiler, they say it has 330 hp, yet the only performance mod listed is Borla Cat back exhaust, I wouldnt drop 30k on it myself.

Man, that is some of the poorest finishing work I have ever seen an a supposed SEMA car. Look how bad the paint work is on the rockers and how poorly the spoiler fits -- not even close!

And which wheels come with the car? Or are they different on the left and right sides?

And, that is really cheap how they describe two other cars they supposedly built.

If you read tht again, they are saying they are the companies that did all tht stuff to featured casr at SEMA> not for this particular car. They were just showing their rep. This car is just basically 20's, lambo doors, couple custom mods, and its a Base GT.

"This car was awarded with best design by ford motor company." - from the vehicle description, it seems they built the other 2 cars for the 04 SEMA show and this one for the 05 SEMA show.

I can't stand either one of those wheels.

I would rather get my own car and pay the extra for the items myself. However, if it fits what you are looking for than go for it. It is your choice and money and if the car makes you happy then great.

The is it worth it part remains to be seen, the bidding has not stopped yet.

Looks like a good deal to me. That car looks like it has almost $10k in mods. I would sell the wheels on Ebay though and get some 20's instead.

Some must tell me what award that won - its an amalgamation of different parts you could do yourself - the window sccops look HUGE, the wheels are the suck, and the ducktail looks horrible.

looks like it went for $30,100! I'd say that's a smoking deal for a brand new GT with automatic, plus all the listed upgrades and I suspect no sales tax. And IMHO it is a great looking car...

this car was actually pictured a few times on Mustangworld:
