Any fiberglass people here that might have an idea of how hard this would be? This is something that I put together in about 15 minutes out of posterboard to get the shape right, but I can see this as two fiberglass pieces that are somehow bonded together and 3M'ed to the glass. I know that it will show a seam, but so do all the louvres that we've been looking at too.

Ideas anyone?

Those look nice -

My guess is that this year the aftermarket will have something close to that out.

I am sure you know that CDC has a similar design with the sharper edges and the corners more square. I like the rounded style like yours better.

If not, make a pattern, get a patent and start selling them...

Please don't flame me....I'm gonna show my ignorance. I've seen these types of scoops out there and have always thought they'd catch wind and cause resistance. I guess not enough resistance to be of concern?

There are two holes... one in the front and a smaller one in the back. The air goes right through. I don't think it would be worth worrying about, but I'm sure it cuts down a tiny bit on aerodynamics. Probably not too much more than the antenna though.

Thanks....I didn't know there were holes in the back too. I'm sure you're right, nothing to worry about.
