Saleen Parts

So tell me, does this mean that if I buy the full body kit for $1400, and the exhaust for $1000, that from the outside, with the exception of the wheels, my car would look like the Saleen for the most part?
I'm assuming the parts come unpainted...? Anyone have a ball park on the paint and installation for this stuff?

yes, minus the interior. it is reasonably annoying to install. Have professionals do it expecially with the exhaust and all. but expect to pay between 1500- 2500 for paint and install depending on paint type, number of coats ect.

Don't forget shipping, I think it would be pretty expensive having all that shipped. The ride height on the Saleen is a bit lower I think too. You would need the Saleen rims as well if you want it to look exactly like a Saleen. The one thing you will be missing is the number on the front bumper.

you can get away with approx 5 k for kit install and paint (including the rear exhaust) excluding the rear wing of the saleen.(shipping $ approx $250)
the saleen wheel and tires run about $3600 + shipping
the saleen set of seat front and rear retail about $2100.
there is fitting issue with the saleen kit on the GT, a lot more than expected for that type of kit and price...
i just evaluated the all process before deciding to go with Street scene kit.

There is no fittment issue with the Saleen Kit on the GT, where did you get that from?
The new kit is made from the same OEM material unlike the urethane of past.

if you have a chance to participate to converting one or have a friend that has one or try to install one just witness the 'fit and instal"l, you will be very surprised.
it did not fit very well also on the 04 GT and that one i know for a fact it was mine and my cost......
