RWL at last!

Well for the past 3 years I have gone crazy like so many of us trying to find RWL tires for my Mustang both when I had the GT and now with the convertible. No avail. The topic was beat to death in these forums. RWL only seemed available in smaller sizes. It was a shame because it's a retro car so retro stuff on it like RWL is very fitting, especially with the bullits, pony package, emblems, mustang corral, running pony mats I figured I top it off with some red dice and RWL lol. I finally plunked down and went with Orn's paint. Yup, the guy in Iceland and guess what? It did it!

I must say he makes a remarkable product! You just need the patience, a very fine tip brush - and a slow and steady hand. I have just applied the paint and it looks great. I took a few pix today of my 2005 Mustang. It makes it look like a classic muscle car. The paint is very tough and thick I let it dry overnight and tried to chip it with my finger and it didn't budge. Excellent quality. I had previously tried the JC Whitney marking pen which runs, doesn't stick and does not get the results one would want. This looks like it came from the factory. Here's his link. Tell me what you guys think?

Someone needs to photoshop in the words "How you doin'?" above that last pic.

The paint does look factory, nice work, I like the look.

I like the look a lot. Too bad the letters aren't closer to the rim.

Looks as good or I should say better than I thought they would. Was one of the folks who discussed getting RWL's. The bullit's IMO really set them off! Still surprised no one has come out with the tire.

Looks great!!!!!
I miss having RWL.
I actually use to have the RGL on my tbird.

Hope they hold up to a scrub brush with westley bleech white to keep em clean, and the occasional sos pad.

I know this is an old topic but I would like to know how the paint held up after you finished your tires.

Looks weird on a new style Mustang. Maybe weird-good, I guess I'd want to see it in real life. Not sure. Anybody ever try red-line tires? THAT would give you the old-school look for sure!
