Roush Performance Scoop Install by Bryan Andrus.

I finished my Roush hood scoop installation this week, to my 2005 GT Mustang, so I'm posting the installation for your review and feedback. Any question please ping me.

Enjoy and have a great day!

Nice write-up. I have one of those scoops hanging on my garage wall.

I thought you had a Roush scoop on the car, what scoop do you have on the car now?

I don't want to steal this thread because he has done a nice job and a service to the board by posting. To answer your question I installed a shaker.

Why did you paint a garage door opener on your scoop? J/K

It looks great!

I just reviewed the attached write-up and the weird thing is from the underside view it looks like the scoop is a mile wide. The other thing was I was expecting the hood to be black underneath. Do they paint it with the liner on?

Anyway...The scoop looks fantastic! I think I want a Roush scoop too.

Very strange I installed my Roush scoop and my hood was black underneath the liner. It wasn't a very heavy coat of black, but it was there. Love the scoop, definitely better than the appearance package from Ford.

X2, I am considering this hood scoop and if I see some pics on another black stang would be helpful. Great job!

When mounting, Is there any way to be sure that the seal is water-tight ?
