I saw a set of these on a 04 Cobra this past weekend and they looked great. I'm not a big fan of the "bling" wheels (real shiney and flashy type). I saw these and they were the perfect blend of something that looked a little flashy but had a grey tone to the look that kept it similar to the stock bullits. I have a MG GT on order and thought that these wheels look great, but I haven't seen the offset specs and I haven't seen them on an 05 yet. Have any of you in TMS land tried these wheels?

[attachmentid=16852]Man, I love those wheels. I think the offset may not work, but if they do, those may be my new favorite! I emailed jdwheels, who is a distributor for ROH to see if they fit. I saw them on a Infiniti G35 Coupe at www.groupawheels.com, see pic. I believe that the infiniti has the same bolt pattern and offset range as the stang, it would be great if those fit!

Fastball,

Hey I spoke to Bob at Group A wheels just now. he said the rims are a +36mm offset, looks like they should fit nice.

Really, I just got an email back from Group A wheels and they said that they couldn't build this style in a 45 offset for the 05 Stang and that's all the email said. But if they are a 36 offset, then that shouldn't be as bad as like a 24, right. Didn't the 99-04 stangs have a 24 offset? The email did offer the drift R for the 05, but I don't like the wheel. I liked this because it was a little different than the bullits and thus you don't have the same as everyone else (individuality).

Fastball, I agree totally with you on the rims. Dont want anything too showy, but at the same time it has to be kind of a tough looking rims. That is what I like about those.

I dont think that they have the best website with info. If you do look at the website though, I saw 3 or 4 cars with similar offsets as the stang using those rims. then I checked out what infiniti's offset was. come to find out that any nissan 350z infiniti G35 coupe mazda rx8 rim will also all fit the new stang.

So then I decided to call that Group A out east and spoke to a guy named Bob. He told me the bolt pattern is 5x4.5 and the offset is 36 mm.

I guess those fit

I dont have my car yet, expecting it sometime here in the next couple weeks. if you get those rims, please send some pics!

Thanks

Sam

Sam, I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered in Jan., but I haven't been pulled yet. I have a MG GT coming and thought these wheels would look great with that color!
