I know a couple of guys from this board purchased this hood and it needed a lot of work to get up to standards. Has anyone purchased one recently that can comment if the quality has improved? I really want a hood and this is the only one I really like.

Thanks!

Thanks. Can you answer a couple questions -

- When did you get the hood (recently or a while ago? - there have been some reports that the QC issues have been dealt with).

- What did you ultimately do? Return it? Spend a ton of money getting it fixed up right? If so, what's the story? Was your experience as bad as Bryan's with this thing?

- If you installed it, can you provide pictures? Have you noticed any peformance gains?

- In general, what leads you to say "It's Trash"? Not flaming or anything at all - just curious.

Thanks, steal.

1) A while ago.

2) I called RK and they sent me the new model at no cost. My body shop did a poor job on prep and paint so, I have a credit with them on the new one they have now.

3) I was so mad over the out come I never took pics. It now has been trashed because it had to be cut up to even fit. Gains, I felt it was letting cooler air in.

4) All four corners were short and lots of sanding was needed. The fitment was really bad. The hood smashed my MMR filter and the T-Body screw almost rubbed a hole in the hood.

RK Sport did make it right with me. Working with Mo and Jim was a good thing. The newer hoods shouldn't still be having these problems.
