Rims opinion
Here's my first ever photo chop. Thinking of getting these rims, they are Ruff Racing 278's. Planning on getting 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 back with 42mm offset. Probably go with 255/45 fronts and 285/40 rear tires.
These are about as retro looking as a space shuttle. But to be honest, I'm just wore out on the Bullitts and look alikes, though at one time I would have killed for some Smoothie II's. It seems every Mustang, V6 or GT, is rolling down the street around here on Bullitts, and more Pony Packages at the local Ford stealerships than you can shake a stick at.
And I like to go for something different.
So, what do you think about these?

Not bad. Not AMAZING, but not bad. I think I considered those back when I was looking for wheels.
One thing I realized after I got my FR500's was if you buy wheels that are available at the big online stores and every accessory catalog out there as well as being advertised in every car magazine on the rack, expect to see your wheels on a lot of other cars. Like the little tuner cars with neon lights run all over the car.
There were several wheels I looked at that I later saw on those kinds of cars and it makes SOOO glad I didn't get any of them.
I agree about the Bullitts. Once they started coming on a V6, they lost their appeal. (no offense to any V6 guys) They're everywhere now.
