Thumbs up

Hey guys,

Almost ready to place my order on my stang. While I waiting, I am trying to find some aftermarket rims that will best accent the reto styling of the car. I'm not sure how retro they are, but I love the chrome fans blades. So if I could find some just like the ones we have seen in the past on pre-production, I would consider buying them. I know the regular bullets are a retro-type rim but they just don't grab me. Anybody know of some rims styles that are out now that resemble old school mustangs 64-69?

Anybody get the factory chrome bullets with the knock-offs yet? Just wondering what those look like on the car. I seen the picture in the brochure but it's not the same.

I like those alot, but I am not sure if they are available yet. If they are I would like to see them, cause that would be the way to go.

That is exactly what my mom has on her 66.

EDIT: I take that back I think her's is a little different it doesn't have spokes but it has the knock off thing on the hubcap. I didn't realize they had more than one hubcap that year?

Sorry bro... couldn't resist. You know... the only wheels that came out back then I thought were anywhere close to good lookin' were Halibrands, but I didn't like the 10 spoke that was on the Shelbys.... just the ones on the AC cobra. The magnum 500 were alright, but I like the modern interpritation better.... the ones on the '04 MACH 1. The Bullits look like the Torque Thrust D that came on the Shelby Mustangs and the wheels on the V6 look like the Halibrands.... the other wheels I thought were just ugly.

These have a pretty cool vintage road racer look. The wheel is the RacelineGT, by Raceline Wheels.

Yeah I agree. I guess I should have been more clear. I wasn't looking for exact replicas of the old 64-69 style rims just some the kinda of looked more retro instead of the newer styles that look better on those "beefed up" rice mobiles. Maybe I will have to look back at some of the sema stuff.
