Removing Strut Tower Caps

I need some ideas on how to get off the strut tower caps I put on a few months ago. I have the polished UPR caps on with some kind of silicone. I need to get them off to put in some Tokico D-Specs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I usually use a rubber jar opener to grap and twist the covers. It I need a little more force I use a very thin screwdriver with something under it to protect the paint on the tower and pry up just to loosen. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Just did it this morning. Just used the screw driver all the way around. A couple of tiny little spots you can see where I couldn't help but scratch. I plan on putting some Midwest covers on anyway.

Oh yeah, didn't think about that. I'll contact Midwest and see I guess.
