Removing stock wing
Ok i found out what my X-mas present is from my god sister, it is a Steeda Street wing and i am planning on installing this myself. I know those stock wings are on pretty good after they have had time to settle (i have an 06 and it would stand in TX heat for a while). Would the old blow dryer and fishing line trick work, or is there another trick for this, i do not want to do more damage than good. Especially when i am already paying for painting the wing, do not want to pay for toushing up the trunk lid after i messed up the paint.
[and i remember there was a thread on this but i think it got deleted because i did a search and nothing]

Same here but I used several strands of dental floss wrapped together instead of fishing line. The sticky tape residue is a pain in the a$$ to remove but with patience and goo gone it will clean up just fine
