I'm about to have the factory spoiler removed to install my CDC ducktail spoiler.

Thing is i'm worried about the leftover holes so my question is will a good body shop be able to cover them up or do I really need to buy the 90 dollar hole filler kit sold by CDC?

I unfortunately also am going to have to deal with the factory holes left from the spoiler but I think the CDC hole filling brackets are pretty hideous and instead of dealing with the hassle of having a body shop fill the holes I am going with a spoiler that covers the factory holes.

IMO

Around here their getting $200 just to weld and fill the holes in the fenders so I could only wonder what the trunk holes being filled would cost. The choice of using a ducktale that covers the holes would put you money ahead in my book

....and the 3d carbon ducktail is rather nice looking, http://www.3dcarbon.com/bodykits_GT.htm. But to answer your question, yes, a good body shop will be able to close up the holes and paint them.

As you already heard, a good shop can fill them and repaint the trunklid and you wouldn't know the holes were ever there. Mine will be getting done soon but I can't tell you the cost because it is just part of redoing the entire car.
