The Guys doing my Stripes are the Guys that do all Graphics for the JBA SEMA show cars..But he does not remove the Emblems... JBA takes them off before he gets the cars...He's done a great job so far..All thats left to do is the Trunk..
Thanks for any help in this area..

My guy attempted but said it looked like it was going to break, so he went around it. Are there screws?

The rear badge and GT fender badges are attached to the car with double sided tape.
To remove, heat area with a heat source (hair dryer) use a thin piece of plastic (Blockbuster card will do fine) or fishing line.
You should know that both have alignment holes in the sheet metal, so in less your going to fill & paint the holes, I suggest leaving them on.
Put on the stripes and replace the tape on the emblem and reattach.
The first mod I did was replacing the GT rear emblem with a tri bar running pont off a V6.

Did you order the entire badge from ford or can you get just the emblem?
How much did the swap cost you if you dont mind me asking?

1New,
Your welcome for the info. I would hope for no charge since you can do it at home.

Ford Racing,
The cost is about $25.00 for the whole badge from Ford as 1New states, I found mine on ebay ($15) three weeks before getting the car. It only takes about half an hour to do it yourself. Paitence (sp) with the hair dryer and then cleaning the residue off the trunk lid is the most time consuming thing of the install.

Make for a nice little change. My next change is a aftermarket antenna, OEM is just to tall for me.

I would put a rag under the screw driver so u don't scratch it, but don't use a block for leverage cause that will dent the lid,
